The ARIEN consortium gathered in Venice for its 8th General Assembly to review progress, discuss the latest pilot results, and coordinate the project’s final activities.

The meeting focused on the third round of pilots, including preliminary findings from the second cycle. Partners also reviewed project management activities and discussed the final stages of project implementation. Key discussions addressed operational performance, lessons learned, and preparations for upcoming milestones, including the project review and the final event.

A highlight of the programme was a guided visit to the Venice Local Police Smart Control Room and Forensic Laboratory, where participants gained first-hand insight into operational practices and the deployment of advanced technologies in daily policing activities to enhance security operations, support criminal investigations, and strengthen public safety.
