On March 20 and 21, 2025, the ARIEN project successfully hosted its 4th General Assembly at the esteemed CEA in Paris.
This significant gathering brought together key partners from across the consortium to evaluate our progress, exchange knowledge, and strategize the next steps in our mission to combat illicit drug production and trafficking through cutting-edge AI-driven solutions.
As a Horizon Europe-funded initiative, ARIEN is committed to enhancing investigative capabilities and supporting strategic interventions in alignment with the European Union’s 2021-2025 Drugs Strategy. By leveraging advanced AI technologies, we aim to provide law enforcement agencies and policymakers with robust tools to tackle drug-related crimes effectively and ethically.
One of the crucial aspects of this assembly was the preparation for the upcoming review with the European Commission in Brussels. This next phase will be pivotal in demonstrating ARIEN’s impact and reinforcing its alignment with EU strategic priorities. The progress made in Paris has set a solid foundation for the steps ahead, reinforcing our commitment to a safer and more secure society.
As we move forward, ARIEN remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation and collaboration in the fight against illicit drug production and trafficking. The progress achieved during this General Assembly is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our partners, and we are excited to continue this journey together.
