CEPOL Research & Science Conference 2024/2025
Tackling the world of High-Risk Criminal Networks (HRCN)
The CEPOL Research and Science Conference 2024/2025 brought together academics, law enforcement professionals, and policymakers under the theme “Research, Reform, Resilience – Europe’s Law Enforcement in the 21st Century.” Held in a hybrid format with sessions in Vilnius, Lithuania, and online, the conference provided a unique platform to foster dialogue between science and practice.
Organised by the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL), the event aimed to strengthen the link between research, policy, and operational practice in the field of law enforcement. Participants explored how research-based knowledge can support reform processes and enhance the resilience of police organisations facing complex, evolving challenges. The conference also highlighted the importance of evidence-based policing and cross-border collaboration in addressing today’s security threats.
