The Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH), founded in 2000, is one of the largest research centres in Greece and participates in ARIEN through the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) and two of its teams: (i) the Visual Computing Lab (VCL) and (ii) the Multimodal Data Fusion and Analytics (M4D) group of the Multimedia Knowledge and Social Media Analytics Laboratory (MKLab).

Within the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) Technological Research Division, the CEA LIST institute carries out research on intelligent digital systems. The Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Organised Crime Unit (YHROCU) is part of the England and Wales national ROCU network providing specialist capability to tackle the increasing complex threat posed by Organised Crime Groups and Serious and Organised Crime (SOC). The YHROCU is a collaboration between the Police Forces of West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Humberside. Specialist capabilities are used in investigate, frustrate and disrupt serious organised criminality. THE ROCU either lead such investigations or provide specialist support. Additionally, it provides a critical link between the National Crime Agency and the police forces across the region.
